Shark Dive!

Yesterday I did the Shark Dive at UnderWater World for free! I love my internship! Basically it was amazing! :) It was really funny I went with 3 other grown men. They all looked like they were so nervous. One of the guys was from France and asked how I wasn't scared. I just laughed because honestly I don't really know why I just really wasn't the least bit nervous. Anyway so I geared up and jumped in with the sharks!

It was really neat because I was just standing 2ft away from the sharks. The Sandbar Whalers came cruising by a few times to see what we were doing. Also my favorite shark Freckles (juvenile Grey Nurse Shark, 6ft) came over to check me out a couple of times! Also her mother Mystery (about 12-14ft) swam like 3 inches above my head!!! It was AWESOME!

It was so cool because I know the sharks by name. Each shark has a different personality which is just so cool. The animals at UnderWater World have become almost like a family to me. I love these sharks and cant wait swim with them again. (when the water is warmer!!!)
